The new Kids Kitchen in the Festival Village

And the Rotary Club of Christchurch and Waitrose

New for 2017, Kids Kitchen will be at the Festival Village on Christchurch Quay. It will all be happening during the Festival weekend on Saturday 6th May and Sunday 7th May from 1000 – 1700. Each session lasts for around an hour and all the food is provided.

The sessions, where children are cooking on their own, are priced at £7 per ticket, whilst the sessions for an adult & child to cook together are £10 for a double ticket.

Numbers are strictly limited and pre-booking is essential.

Saturday 6 May

1000 – 1100 ‘Rod and Rachel’s Taste of Spain’ for 6-10 year olds

Enjoy a flavour of Spain and make a chicken and chorizo paella – £7 per ticket

1100 – 1200 ‘Susan’s Pasta Party’ for an adult and child

Enjoy a flavour of Italy and learn to make ravioli with a spinach & cream cheese filling – £10 per double ticket

1200 -1300 ‘Rod and Rachel’s Taste of Spain’ for 7-12 year olds

Learn how to make Spanish meatballs with a butter bean and tomato sauce – £7 per ticket

1300 – 1400 ‘Colin’s Scrummy Pancakes and Crêpes’ for an adult and child

Join Colin Nash from the Three Tuns and learn to make chicken and spinach pancakes followed by white chocolate and raspberry filled crêpes – £10 per double ticket

1400 – 1500 ‘Susan’s Pasta Party’ for 9-12 year olds

Come and learn how to make linguini pasta and a tomato sauce – £7 per ticket

1600 – 1700 ‘Susan’s Pasta Party’ for an adult and child

Enjoy a flavour of Italy and learn to make ravioli with a spinach & cream cheese filling – £10 per double ticket
